HeyJudy is a community intelligence platform designed to solve the problem of fragmented local information. Using AI-powered orchestration, it brings together scattered resources like job postings, grants, and community events into one trusted hub.

The Problem

Local information is everywhere but it’s scattered, inconsistent, and often outdated. Job opportunities live on one platform, community events on another, and grant listings in buried PDFs or WhatsApp groups.

For individuals and businesses trying to stay informed, this fragmentation makes it hard to find reliable, timely information. Meanwhile, community leaders spend hours answering the same questions or manually sharing links that quickly expire.

The result is a broken information ecosystem, where useful data exists, but accessibility and context are missing. People don’t need more sources; they need one intelligent system that brings everything together and helps them act on it.

The Chat Interface

At the core of HeyJudy is a conversational interface - a simple, friendly space where users can ask questions and instantly get relevant local insights.

The chat was designed to feel approachable yet intelligent, guiding users naturally through discovery. Whether someone’s looking for jobs, grants, or upcoming community events, Judy responds conversationally while surfacing verified results.

Community News & Updates

The news page curates trusted updates from local sources - everything from community developments to policy changes, events, and funding announcements.

It was designed to give users a quick, scrollable overview of what’s happening around them without the clutter of traditional news feeds. Each story is summarized by Judy, highlighting what matters most and linking back to verified sources.

Funding Opportunities

The funding page helps users discover active grants and financial programs relevant to their goals — whether they’re small business owners, community organizers, or local startups.

Each listing gives a clear summary of who’s eligible, how much funding is available, and the key dates to apply. Judy’s conversational layer also allows users to ask follow-up questions like “Am I eligible for this?” or “When does the next cycle open?” — making funding discovery feel less overwhelming.

Community Events

The events page connects people to what’s happening around them - from career fairs and workshops to cultural festivals and networking meetups.

The first view gives users all the essentials at a glance: date, time, location (with an instant link to Google Maps), and a short event description. When expanded, the page reveals directions, official website, contact details, ticket information, and a full event overview.

This feature helps residents, especially new immigrants plug into their community faster. Instead of missing out on local programs, they can easily find events that support career growth, learning, or social connection. By centralizing verified listings and reducing the time spent searching, the events page helps people feel informed, included, and engaged in their new environment.

Job Listings & Integrations

The jobs section was designed to make hiring and job searching simple, connected, and easy to manage - all in one place.

Businesses can post openings directly on the platform and get instant notifications when candidates apply. Job seekers can browse opportunities filtered by location, skill, or experience level, and apply without switching tabs or filling out repetitive forms.

To make the experience even smoother, the platform supports direct integrations with Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, allowing employers to schedule and host interviews without leaving the app.

Design focus:

  • Simplicity: A clean posting flow and easy application tracking for both sides.

  • Integration: Built-in video tools make remote interviews seamless.

  • Clarity: Clear status updates help employers and applicants stay informed at every step.

Impact:
This setup reduces the back-and-forth that typically slows down hiring. For small businesses and community employers, it brings everything - posting, communication, and interviewing into one reliable space. For job seekers, it makes finding and applying for opportunities faster and more intuitive.
